Raised in the harsh deserts of Phoenix, Arizona; Ryan Kjølberg spent his youth exploring with friends and nurturing his imaginative mind. Having a natural affinity toward the arts, he delved into various mediums; ranging from drawing and painting, to writing and performing music in a band. This passion ultimately lead him to Filmmaking where he learned to combine his love of visual storytelling with his social and collaborative nature. Having now been in the industry for 10+ years, Ryan’s films have received numerous awards, millions of views online and have debuted at film festivals across the globe.
Now a recent Brooklynite, Ryan looks to branch out into the larger New York market; hoping to make compelling work with talented filmmakers and accomplished production studios.
